The warning on Windows

The first time you run the installer, Windows may show a blue box that says Windows protected your PC. This is SmartScreen. It appears because the installer is not yet signed with a paid certificate, not because anything is wrong with the file.

  1. Click More info.
  2. Click Run anyway.

Where your writing lives

FoxQuill keeps your book in one file in your user folder, not beside the program. Uninstalling FoxQuill does not remove it.
